About this piece
This little strand of thread seeks to explore the many shades of love, and how this pious emotion is embedded in every fibre of the world. In today's time, Love is the only antidote to hatred, the only way peace can prevail in a world fruaght with divisiveness. Love threads all.
How do You know that I Know?
How do you know that I know
That the deep ocean’s deepest blue
Like that of molten lapis lazuli
Is your longing brimming over every droplet
Of the vast endless purity;
That the crimson core of the distant dawn
Is you calling out to me
Towards a future far;
That the lustrous lavender of
Smiling hydrangea and shy pansies
Is your Love for me
Spilling out from buttercups’
Each pore;
And the tiniest of blades
Of the lush green grass
Sways to the tune of your
Song that you sing for Us;
And when a soft drizzle falls on me
It is You writing your name
All over me!
Threading your name
In hues of earth and sky
To write something lush and deep . . .
. . . And how do you know that I know
And how do I begin to thank you
For letting me know.
